SAND FILTER
Pressure sand filter is an extremely robust system for the removal of suspended solids and turbidity. The filtration medium consists of multiple layer of sand having different sizes & specific gravity. The process takes place in the filtration bed of pressure filters removing turbidity, colloid substances, undesirable color and odor, microbiological contamination, ammonia ions, iron and manganese from water.
As per the requirements of each project, we design filters of different sizes, both hand operated or fully automatic.
CARBON FILTER
Most drinking water is disinfected with chlorine or chloramines. During the disinfection process, the reaction of chlorine with organic matter can produce compounds such as trihalomethanes (THMs) that might be responsible of causing certain types of cancer.
Activated carbon filters are ideal for the removal of chlorine or chloramines, as well as the elimination of colors, odor, organics and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from water. The selection of an activated carbon system is based on water analysis and assessment of individual homeowner’s needs and situation. Also, the regular replacement of the filter/cartridge is critical to maintain effectiveness and reduce bacterial contamination of the filter.
WATER SOFTENER
Hard water has unfavorable effects on the appliances and plumbing systems that are clearly visible from the rock-hard scale which is formed on the shower heads, faucets, humidifiers, dishwashers, clothes washers, pipes and water heaters.
A water softener system is a unit used to convert hard water into a soft one, by eliminating minerals such calcium and magnesium. By removing water hardness, the efficiency of all the appliances and plumbing systems will be increased along with enhancing their service life. Moreover, this will also decrease the electricity consumption, as water heaters consume up to 22% more energy in case of hard water.
REVERSE OSMOSIS
Reverse osmosis can remove many types of dissolved and suspended species from water, including bacteria, and is used in both industrial processes and the production of potable water.
